1399156 2015-04-22 06:30:00 Hey i have a laptop which needs a ram upgrade . I was told by one the person that to bring a model number of the laptop .The person did tell me where to find it . I did find it but the person said this is not the one .
So i want to know can i get the PC specifications by operating system like from windows 7 . If yes can you tell me where to get it .


It would make things easier for me and it is HP

There are tools too that can identify it but I'm not a windows user.

1399158 2015-04-22 08:04:00 There's generally only two places the numbers will be, either on a sticker on the underside, or with the laptop off, and unplugged, remove the battery and some have a lot of details in the battery Compartment.

Some are hard to read as well in the battery Compartment, the writing is so small.
