| 438664 | 2006-03-19 07:46:00 | Xtra DNS: (Old) 202.27.184.3 & 202.27.184.5 (New) 202.27.158.40 & 202.27.156.72 I am using the old ones then, I will change them right away. I assume you were using his account logon details then, because (from a previous thread in the last few days) I have presumed that your logon is dedicated to the dslam at your local exchange. Yes I was using his logon, well I was connected to his server and connected to the net through that. But in short, yes I was using his logon. It would be interesting to know if you can access xtra dsl say, from any phone line provided you are using an Xtra logon. That would make things interesting. Well when we got DSL setup, we had to supply a phone number where the DSL is connected, so I am not too sure if that would work, but interesting to find out. |

| 438665 | 2006-03-29 18:50:00 | Well I finaly got around to calling Telecom the other night and Trace Routes were suggested by the technician, once I done many of these, on my PC, mums, both networked, different ethernet ports etc I rang them back yesterday, they said there seemed to be nothing wrong on thier end, and after reseting the modem everything seemed work...for a short time. Anyway at this stage it is looking towards the modem, so the guy is sending another modem out and I am to call if it happens with this modem and we will look at more drastic options, and to E-Mail him after about a week if it is all good. Anyway, I must say Telecom were very helpful and no problems. :) |
