Have a Leadtech winfast tv tuner . But when I am watching live Tv the picture keeps
freezing every few seconds and then comes right again.
very annoying.

512 RAM
1.9 Sempron

438950 2006-03-18 01:07:00 Depending on which card you've got, I would get updated drivers for the Deluxe ( . leadtek . com . tw/eng/support/download . asp?downlineid=63&downline=WINFAST%20TV2000%20XP%20DELUXE" target="_blank">www . leadtek . com . tw) or get updated drivers for the Expert ( . leadtek . com . tw/eng/tv_tuner/download . asp?downlineid=67&pronameid=93&lineid=6&act=3" target="_blank">www . leadtek . com . tw)

And also get the updated program for either from the same site above .

Thats if u have the Expert or Deluxe .

It may also be your videocard drivers, if you've a installed a lot of versions of the videocard drivers for your videocard .

I would get Drivercleaner Pro (http://www . drivercleaner . net) install this program, uninstall the drivers you have now .

Then boot into safe mode then run Drivercleaner Pro .

MAKE SURE you select the right drivers (Nvidia or ATI), and it'll remove the driver files etc for your videocard .

Then reboot and then reinstall the latest version of the drivers . for your videocard . 		Speedy Gonzales (78)
438951 2006-03-18 01:16:00 Maybe overtaxing your video chipset if its a bit of a pos.

Try dropping your desktop res down to 800x600 and removing your wall paper.

And the usual system configuration for a healthy comp, If something is running rampent in the background it can starve the app for resources.


...I presume this is just watching bradcast TV and not playback of recorded TV?, If your having troble recording then defrag your HD, lower your capture settings and shut down unrequired programs in your system startup.

If your running Nortns then try with it disables, though watch out its prone to breaking.... 		Metla (12)
