| 438905 | 2006-03-17 21:48:00 | Hi All, The great BBC have put a lot of their archive material on to the internet as a free download. One problem, If your computer in not reconized as being in the UK you can not access it. I would like to be able to access this material, is there any way I can fool their server so that it thinks I am in the UK ? Would using a proxy server work? Thanks for any ideas Paul |

All I can seem to find are lists of numbers such as 194.80.38.243:3127. This number shows as being in the UK but if I past that number into Firefox link bar it goes nowhere. Can anyone explain finding and useing a proxy to a non-nerd ? Paul |
