| 438777 | 2006-03-17 03:59:00 | As the title suggests... I am after a memory upgrade for a Compaq EVO N600c notebook. From my investigations I think this model takes SD RAM, is has a 1GHz PIII CPU. The machine currently has 128MB of RAM and is going to be used mainly for word processing and e-mail. It is a hand me down machine and currently has Win2K installed as well as Novell Netware. All this will be replaced with a fresh install of Win2K and MS Office 2003. Anyone know if this machine does in fact take SD RAM or am I better off taking it to a store for them to do the upgrade? How much am I looking at paying for 256MB of RAM. Cheers chiefnz |

Approx Prices for modules: (Added to the existing 128MB) 64MB - $85 inc GST 128MB - $105 inc GST 256MB - $120 inc GST 512MB - $285 inc GST |
