439725 2006-03-21 19:48:00 I was abroad for a few months and so my PC sat in a corner. When I came back to it, I found that I could not even get to the desktop because a wonderful blue screen came up with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. There were some addresses (memory?) at the bottom which I could get if needed. I am able to get into safe mode, it appears, though I have no clue what to do with it. I noticed on another thread memtest, but I have not managed to get it to run as a boot CD yet. percussion32 (10032)
439726 2006-03-21 20:06:00 This is quite an old message I use to get, never fully found the problem though for me it was nVidia graphics card related with VIA chipset (on motherboard), usually installing via's latest chipset and nvidia's latest drivers solved this problem eventually, sometimes you would have to use older drivers, but hopefully this has been sorted, and is not the problem you're facing now, since I had no clue to what actually fixed this problem.

Cheers,

439728 2006-03-21 23:26:00 Its usually graphics related.
Try updating drivers

439729 2006-03-22 15:11:00 Thanks. This is very interesting indeed. I switched my Raedon card for another and it worked fine, then I put Raedon card back in and uninstalled the drivers and then put on an older version. No problems. I appreciate your help. percussion32 (10032)
