439572 2006-03-20 23:51:00 I recently compiled a list of some programs directly related to PC problem solution that I would like to share. These are "alternative" programs to the main companies who charge a load for medicore programs.

ErrorDoctor.com (http://nope) - This program is great in terms of finding all the problems that pile up with extended use of any PC. Every time you delete a program, fragments may be left behind, or problems may be caused. Invalid entries etc. usually slow down a computer significantly with time. I believe their website offers a free scan, so I would recommend taking advantage.

Noadware.net (http://noway) - I got fed up with Ad-Aware and the fact that several other programs seemed to always find things that it didn't, and came across this gem. Great for getting rid of all the crap aquired from surfing the web.

Errornuker.com (http://nothappening) - This is a Windows Registery Fixer I in the download.com Top 5 list. Lots of people raving about it in the reviews, good stuff.

Microantivirus.com (http://inthislifetime) - Anti-Virus program, very similar to Norton, but a good bit less expensive while still equally effective. For the most part I use this one because it does not take up HUGE amounts of resources like Norton does.

Hope you guys find some use out of these programs. Cheers!

439576 2006-03-21 00:34:00 For those who love spam (that's is the salted meat in metal cans)

"I sent her ninety
SPAM haiku to show my love.
She sent me a shrink."

"Millions starve in Chad.
U.S. sends massive SPAM aid.
Millions starve in Chad."

"A half-eaten slice.
Ants swarm the cold, greasy plate.
A suicide note."

with a bit of online research, you will find:

Errornuker non free .. review here (registry-repair-software-review.toptenreviews.com) (with price)

Microantivirus non free .. homesite here (microantivirus.com)

Noadware non free .. and crap .. review here (www.adwarereport.com) with price

The other one, have found homesite only thus far, no reviews.

There are plenty of FREE (yes free) non-mediocre apps around, and you're trying to pass off this crud
Gimme a break

And if we wanted to pay, I would suggest:
Nod32
WinASO
Spyware Doctor

439578 2006-03-21 01:12:00 all those programs seem to be the favorite of the dodgy reveiw sites, the ones that only seem to to reveiw crap programs and always give them top marks, ie they are paid advertising sites.
they all seem to be low level crud that i certainly wouldn't trust.

DrunkenShad is either spamming or has been suckered in by all the bull.

439579 2006-03-21 01:18:00 Straight spam, the same poster is hitting all the forums overseas.

There is a tag on the URLs which will give a credit for every visit, so don't click them.

439580 2006-03-21 01:22:00 "ClickBank is an internet retailer that sells ebooks and software to millions of customers per year .

Like Amazon . com and other large internet merchants, ClickBank has a network of tens of thousands of affiliates who promote our products . If you have arrived at this page is it likely that you experienced a problem with one of these affiliates . Please follow the instructions below to resolve your complaint .

All ClickBank clients are prohibited from using our services in conjunction with any form of network abuse, spamming, spyware, denial of service, or other illegal activity . Please report any abuse of ClickBank resources promptly so that we can take corrective action against any offending accounts . "

And from the Clickbank main site:

"With ClickBank every link on your web site can be a source of revenue . Use the ClickBank Marketplace to find sites that will be of interest to people who visit your web site . Next to each site listing you'll see a percentage . This is the commission you can earn for referring a paying customer to ClickBank to purchase that product . "

So all up, that would put it under the category of a refferal link . And as a special bonus for your efforts at trying to refer people through and earn yourself some commission -- not to mention thinking that we are all a bunch of simple country bumpkins -- we give you the special prize of a lifetime ban from F1 . Chiao, and have a nice day .

If you run SiteAdviser on your browser, you'd find that these sites have a bad score as they insert lots of neat spyware and spam themselves. No-thanks!
