| 439348 | 2006-03-20 09:08:00 | Hey, Im in a flat in which we have wireless broadband. For certain things on the internet it doesnt allow us to have two people, i think it is beacuse we share the same ip address, is there a way around this? |

| 439349 | 2006-03-20 09:19:00 | How are you connected? The fact that you have a single public IP address is compensated for by NAT implementation within your router. Modems, such as the D-Link 302G have limited capabilities of doing this, as they were designed to be used by single hosts. They are still able nonetheless, they just require tweaking. Unless you yourself were hosting something, you shouldn't have any problems because of this. What exactly are you experiencing? |

| 439350 | 2006-03-20 09:19:00 | details please. if your playing games it could be someone else has your cd key or login details etc. some sites have poor IP backtracing and will only see the ISP proxy hence they think there is more than one person with the same IP addy. only way to fix that is to fix the contact the admin of the site and get them to fix their setup. |

| 439354 | 2006-03-20 13:22:00 | It is party poker, however i just contacted them and they sed: The problem you are encountering could be due to more than one player accessing our Poker Room from the same location (computer/IP), although not necessarily at the same time . To ensure a fair and safe poker environment, we do not allow associated players to share the same tables . As a real money player you can either play with your friends at Multi Table tournaments, or create exclusive Private tables where you can invite selected guests to play with you . Thanks for your help everyone! |
