| 439270 | 2006-03-20 18:49:00 | Ok, a friend of mine suggested that I stop trying to auto-detect the drive and enter it manually. I changed the drive to master, but left it on channel 2. Then I changed the channel 2 master to manual in the BIOS, and entered the cyliders, heads, etc. manually. It's now working fine for both soft and hard reboots and I have access to the drive once I'm booted up. Thank you all for the help, esp. Speedy. |
