| 440312 | 2006-03-24 03:54:00 | I'm referring to the Norton Utilities included in Symantec's Systemworks 2006, (which incidentally I've heard contains a Sony-style root kit). Would I be wasting my money? Thanks. |

| 440315 | 2006-03-24 11:59:00 | they are a few things it does well and has a few features that don't exist on any free program (eg moving swap file). when nortons AV was a resonable program system works was a good buy, but as nortons AV now sucks its not really worth it. to buy the utilities on there own, its way over priced. for most users you can get away with useing free programs. there are a few other paid programs that do just as good a job as nortons did. |
