I have tried it, and still the same. It is so weird, if for instance, i select a internet page, it doesn pop the cd tray out until it connects properly and downloads it. It has also done it when i have been installing games etc. Do you advise throwing the desktop out the top floor window??? |

I have just pulled out the ide cable from the back of the dvd player and the cd tray doesnt do it anymore. However, when i leave the dvd in and pull the cd out, the dvd tray still opens and closes!!!!!! I dont know why, it must be an old component or something!!! |

I have just changed the dvd burner to an old dvd reader, and there is no problem whatsoever. How strange. Thanks to everyone for the help, much appreciated. Satts |
