| 440750 | 2006-03-25 23:15:00 | I have an old desktop computer with a CD-RW drive. If I buy a notebook with a "DVD-Dual Double Layer Module" will the new notebook be able to read the CDs created on my old computer? Thanks in advance. |

| 440753 | 2006-03-26 03:38:00 | Yes. DVD Writers can read/write CDs, DVDs CD Writers can read/write CDs. Doesn't matter what computer wrote the CDs, or what with, both your DVD and CD writers should be able to read them. And likewise, they should both be able to produce them. |

Yeah, but usually the company that writes the packet writing software will have a reader version available for a free download. |
