| 440685 | 2006-03-25 19:52:00 | Over the past month I have had problems connecting to net. About every second morning after I turn my comp on it connects to my ISP as normal and downloads e-mail. But after about ten minutes the green icon in notification area turns red and I get the message "Internet connection closed" If I click on connect it does so, but a minute later it disconnects again. After about ten minutes or so it comes right and problem gone for the day. This only happens on the first switch on which is between 4-30 and 6-0 am. The modem connection light stays on and modem reports it is connected. It's starting to annoy me. When I try to send e-mail I get the message"an error occured....." Why should this happen only first thing in the morning? Why should it happen at all. :( |

| 440688 | 2006-03-25 22:30:00 | Hmm.., just a suggestion, but... I would check to see what programs are set to update around that time and if they have an auto-disconnect upon enabled. Such as AVG etc. |

| 440690 | 2006-03-26 01:57:00 | Nothing is connected to my phone jack apart from the line splitter. And nothing connected to that apart from phone and comp. Useing OE with win xp. The task bar icon produces the mesage when the mouse pointer is held on it. NOD32 may update but it is not set to disconnect. I have no added Firewall. ADSL is a simple conexstant modem. No Router. I should point out this setup has been running unchanged for over a year. The problem has been just in the last month. |
