| 441192 | 2006-03-27 18:51:00 | Greetings, Have a look at a suite of programs put out by efofex in Western Australia. They work alongside Word . At the school where I taught until recent retirement, we bought FX Equation and FX Graph (I think that latter one is the name). FX Equation was particularly helpful when preparing tests. To enter y = sin theta (symbol) , you would type in y=sin th and it would come up with perfect symbols. Then, you can enter that into the word document. The same was true for FX Graph. You could draw a set of graphs on their axes very easily and then put them across into word. Resizing etc was a cinch. I now run only Linux here at home and I have yet to find an equivalent that is as good. Hope this helps, Jim |
