| 441643 | 2006-03-29 17:11:00 | I just pulled a dual floppy drive originally from a very old computer...probably an Apple or whatever, that I had installed in my SOYO...it has the pin arrangement that you show here..but there's a small problem with what you have...there is an INTERMEDIATE card between the USB with male 4-pin to the drive.....so he hook-up is complicated by the card in the middle (which, BTW is not installed anywhere...it just floats on the cables without any brackets or support...but it's very light and not a strain on anything). It goes like this: (my) dual floppy drive-to-intermediate card-to-USB (internal) port. As it is, I am not going to part with it in the near future...I can use the old big floppies in it when I run C>64 and C>128 programs ;) |
