nah not the monitor, I am using that on this machine. I will rip an old machine I have here apart for the PSU and try that. I'll post back with the results later. |

nope no chance of getting into bios or safe startup etc. It literally does only give me about 5 seconds and then just powers off totally. No restart etc. |

OK I have narrowed it down to the power supply. I dragged an old 300w unit out of a dead machine and hey presto power up and running however the PSU is quite old and making noises so will have to source another tomorrow and get the thing running properly. Now all I have to do is chase up QMB Computers for a credit or replacement. Thanks for your help all. |
