I have a new Toshiba notebook which when booting up displays a Toshiba Splash screen. I would rather watch the POST details and boot sequence.How can I avoid this coverup? All comments gratefully considered Thanks from Trombone |

The option to turn it off, will be in the BIOS settings somewhere. |

In the BIOS (F2 at power up, most likely) disable "quiet boot".
Its not as clear as Speedy perhaps suggests as to what it does. |
