442760 2006-04-01 07:12:00 I am running windows XP home edtion and recently went to broadband. For ease of use i installed a wiresless connection using Netgear's WGT624 Router and WG311T adapter.

Since installing the adapter my PC has been "hanging" there appears to be no pattern to when this happens and i have to manually restart as Alt, Ctrl, Del doesn't work.

I did phone Netgears helpline and have tried installing on verious ports, removed my modem and yet it's still happening.

Has anyone had this problem or know how i can fix it as it's becoming very frustrating.

Thanks

442761 2006-04-01 09:45:00 See if there is an updated driver for the wireless card on the Netgear website.

I see you have taken out the card. Is it possible to do a system restore to a point before you installed the wireless card driver?

Of course it may not be related to the wireless card and it just happened to start doing it around the time you installed the card.
