Stay away from motherboards based on VIA chipsets, ive heard far too many horror stories to reckonmend them. Especially when there are ample entry level nForce4 boards avaliable. Ive just done a quick search and the ASUS A8N5X seems to offer good features and a good price, plus its an ASUS board which is a very good brand. Pair that motherboard with the above CPU and video card and you should have a very capable system.
With any build theres always the chance the parts you purchase wont play nicely together. But with the parts mentioned above theres nothing to suggest this will be the case, everything should work fine together. |
