| 442724 | 2006-04-01 06:05:00 | My household has two pc's connected to the internet via a d-link router. Both the pc's connect to the router via a ethernet cable. One of the pc's (which is an Acer 2303lc Laptop) internet connection goes dead if it is not used for a while. To get it to work again you have to restart the laptop. Any ideas what is happening to the laptop?? I'm guessing that its some sort of lan sleep function thats turning itself off after a period of no use??? Is there a setting somewhere where I can turn this off? Notebook is running XP Home sp2. Thanks for any suggestions? M. |
