| 1400619 | 2015-05-13 15:48:00 | I have an Intel E6550 Dual which is 7 years old. Its been setting around for about 6 months and now the monitor wont turn on. I bought a new Video card, tried 2 monitors with 2 different connections, took the RAM out and re-seeded it. The power supply turns on. So is there something else I can try or that Im missing. Otherwise I will just junk it but wanted to post before I did. | lostsoul62 (16011) | ||

| 1400621 | 2015-05-13 20:52:00 | I have an Intel E6550 Dual . That's a CPU, doesn't tell us anything about the PC at all. If a new card and a different monitor didn't cure it, then it's motherboard. |

| 1400623 | 2015-05-13 23:26:00 | ......The power supply turns on....... Power supply could still be faulty, even if it 'turns on' ... have seen that on several PC's Try another PSU if you have one. More likely to be a motherboard fault though. Also try unplugging ALL cables except power & power button, Unplug sata, USB , reset, LED's etc. I have seen broken front USB sockets cause this.. unlikely though. |
