1399387 2015-04-27 05:01:00 Try going into your router and reducing the wireless security a little, sometimes if its to strong some devices wont connect. Had that with a Wireless printer the other day.

Theres quite a few other causes, some things to try as well, listed on the following: answers.microsoft.com

1399389 2015-04-27 09:06:00 Hey i have seen that issue but it is a little different . I got that same message as you did when i installed ubuntu in the vm and no matter if i use the internet or don't i see that same message there all the time .

My first question would be , even though it saya " No Network access " can you still get to google ????

Also tell me what OS you have ???

Thanks

1399390 2015-04-27 09:08:00 Since you haven't said what the OS is or any type of antivirus/ Internet Security you have , the following is a general test.

Right click on the connection in the Icon tray / Open Network and Sharing / on the right hand side will be "Access Type" next to Connections - Click your wireless, A new window will pop up, you’ll see a Diagnose button - Click it.

1399391 2015-04-27 09:15:00 my OS is windows 7, I have tried google but still nothing. My anti virus was Avast but I uninstalled it just in case that was the problem but it was not liberator210 (16797)
1399392 2015-04-27 09:18:00 did the diagnose and its says "wireless network connection" doesn't have a valid IP configuration liberator210 (16797)
1399393 2015-04-27 10:12:00 I have just changed my desktop background and for some reason my wifi is now all working fine and connected to the internet as well as recognising my modem by its correct name .I also restarted my pc to check and its still connected to my modem so I have no clue what has changed. liberator210 (16797)
1399394 2015-04-27 10:52:00 Okay i see . I find it interesting changing desktop background and suddenly wifi is now fine .

I think and it is just what i think you should also do is to try and scan for malware cause sometimes malware can cause this type of things .

1399395 2015-04-27 10:58:00 I just saw on what to do if you have a "IP configuration" problem . Please see the attachment and make sure that it is like that .
Thanks
