Indeed, I have remained a traditional true Tory since the days of Winston Churchill, it's just other people and parties that have changed around me :clap Edit: the move to the right by Thatcher, Regan and Douglas just makes people like me look pink :) |

Invariably they cause more grief than happiness... :D I second that ! Local roading planners put in an island feeding a roundabout on State Highway 1 some time back, to make the roundabout safer. All it did was to congest it even further because now traffic that used to turn right into a side road, now have to do a 180 around the roundabout and come back. Now they have put a second one in and closed down a slow lane(passing lane) so that people cannot turn right into a new Maccas. Those drivers will now also have to go right around the roundabout and come back. Not only that, but when they leave maccas, they will now not be able to get back where they need to be, and will now go through a residential area to carry on their journey. Dikwads. Sorry, rant over and we can get back to the topic.:mad: |
