The guy is like wet dish rag reminds me of that police union clown who gobs off about arming the feld polizei every time a civilian fires a gun. My guess he will languish in the polls and will get rolled just before the next election by Robinson who will get soundly trounced at the election and the National machine will roll on. It is possible the commies may never win another election before the sun runs outta gas |

| 1388243 | 2014-11-18 08:28:00 | There is only one way to stop National: for Winnie the Pete to take over Labour! In all honesty, he is the best of all candidates (only Winnie is awesomer), and after him I am sure Bill English will do a stellar job when it is his turn Good luck with that ;) |

"The current Government has shown its disdain for New Zealanders with its attacks on Kiwis' rights at work, their right to privacy, and in its moves to sell our housing assets and its mistreatment of the families of the Pike River disaster. It is becoming clearer by the day that this must be their last term |

However unless the left can come up with a few credible policies and present them to middle NZ in a creditable fashion there is no way they can take back the government. |

| 1388247 | 2014-11-18 19:21:00 | Bill English?? Or as he should be known Double Dipton. Didn't impress last time, won't next. About as bright as a 5w Lucas bulb. Was promoted to his incompetence level long ago. These are all genuine comments from the court of public opinion (pub) So you had best hope that ShonKey stays, if he heads home to Hawaii to take up golf with his wee mate all you torys will be abandoned, bereft and despondent. It will be funny. :D |

As to his intelligence - he's been a solid Minister of Finance. Just because you weren't a good leader doesn't mean you're stupid. |

Was it just his SI farmer accent that gave a certain perception of being not that smart . |

| 1388250 | 2014-11-19 07:36:00 | Don't I remember a while back people almost discounted National? A certain Mr Key brought them back from the Brash wastelands. He didn't look much up 'til then. Little can do little about his name, but if he is pragmatic he may be able to make Labour more relevent in todays dog eat dog NZ society. Time will tell, as they say. +1:thumbs: |

| 1388251 | 2014-11-19 07:53:00 | Since I didn't vote Labour thats a bit harsh I just don't think jk is all everyone cracks him up to be I agree, however at the moment I think he is the better option for PM. I don't think a Unionist who is out of date with reality is the answer to Labour's woes. Personally, (ie: only my personal opinion) I would like to give all the PC bs the boot and have a politician who is not afraid to tell it as it is. That is to say, to tell the general public in no uncertain terms where our financial situation is at, how we can afford such a large welfare system without taking excessive amounts from Joe average, and what is stopping the reconstruction of Christchurch and many other developments that are required such as housing around the country. My opinion is that it is political correctness and the never ending preservation of bureaucrats' own rear ends that has crept in over the last 20 or so years that is to blame. |
