1388856 2014-12-01 06:35:00 Slater must have something on Shonkey but what.

I wonder if he was helping out Bonker Brown in the Ngati Whatua room?

That would make better reading than Jack Profumo, Mandy Rice-Davies and Christine Keeler all those years ago. :D

1388857 2014-12-01 06:37:00 Hooo Boy!!!!!

Did the Teflon Twit ever get a roasting in the weekend papers.

John Armstrong (john.armstrong@nzherald.co.nz) filled 3 columns with his insightful analysis of Joker Key's memory lapses! All factual, no supposition, and he ripped him to shreds.

Fran O'Sullivan wrote in a similar vein, noting that his lapses of memory defied credibility. She anticipates that he will come under increasing fire from Andrew Little, who is just the man to take him on, intellectually (no contest) and verbally, and from whom JK will find there is no escape in the House.

Finally, Steve Braunias did a magnificent stitch-up in his 'Secret Diary of John Key'. It is great humour, but with a subtle core of absolute truth.

I figure that Key will have to find some new friends, the old ones are deserting the sinking ship.

It will take time, but it will happen! He's the National Party's 'Kim Banks': double-trouble in a pint-sized pack, and with a corrupt-storage memory bank.

Won't our Ford Lover be pleased!

Cheers

PS There was a great cartoon out there as well, I'll see if I can find it.

He got a roasting just before the election and the decent people took no notice and voted him back in with a MMP landslide. Just like now as the commie squealers are squealing and the commie biased media is making a song and dance but the majority fair and decent people are silent.

Folk like the teflon one usually have many a skeleton in their wardrobes.

1388859 2014-12-01 09:18:00 The leverage Slater has over Key . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Today Matthew Hooton shed some light on why Key . . .

Talking on Radio NZ's Nine-to-Noon he argued that Key is making a perfectly logical choice to try to stay in Slater's good books out of fear of what could happen if Slater became his enemy . If Slater and Key fell out then the blogger could go nuclear, dishing the ultimate dirt on Dirty Politics, according to Hooton .

My thoughts too Terry - and that is as a Key supporter . The PM's integrity must be questioned .

True . The argument in support of John Key is that the average person doesn't care . Must say it took about three hours to work out the Gwyn Report which most journalists seem to have skimmed, so what chance has the average Kiwi of finding the core facts . And this is irrelevant pointy headed stuff for most people .

Even so I do think John Key urgently needs to front up and put this stuff behind him . It isn't acceptable for the PM's staff to indulge in black ops sabotage, nor is it acceptable for Key to be connected with Whaleoil .

Yes I know Helen Clark with the astute Heather Simpson etc acted in the same way but they then lost an election . Always stand on the higher ground .

1388860 2014-12-01 18:08:00 Looking into my crystal ball I can see Winston Peters entering from left field with a telling body-blow for Shonkey.

As they say, "Timing is Everything". ;)

1388862 2014-12-02 05:49:00 Yes Labour supporters, the election was 3 months ago and you lost.

People care about the economy and jobs not smear campaigns against one of the most honest politicians we have ever had.

Give Andrew Little a few months honeymoon.

1388863 2014-12-02 05:50:00 The NZ trade deficit hits its highest level for the month of October in six years after slumping dairy prices hit exports.

What has that got to do with your next prime minister?

I linked that in reply to CliveM who stated "Oddly enough the country is doing rather well overall." Which it is clearly not.

Honest and John Key really about as honest as Goff, Cunliffe, Peters or Ronnie Biggs. I can't believe Key has managed to fool so many people for so long. National must have someone better than teflon John.

He has been lying by omission & suffering amazing bouts of Amnesia. If a member of the public was that forgetful they would be in a home. Labour are no better but they are not the PM
