Had that with a Wireless printer the other day. Theres quite a few other causes, some things to try as well, listed on the following: answers.microsoft.com |

Right click on the connection in the Icon tray / Open Network and Sharing / on the right hand side will be "Access Type" next to Connections - Click your wireless, A new window will pop up, youll see a Diagnose button - Click it. |

| 1399393 | 2015-04-27 10:12:00 | I have just changed my desktop background and for some reason my wifi is now all working fine and connected to the internet as well as recognising my modem by its correct name .I also restarted my pc to check and its still connected to my modem so I have no clue what has changed. | liberator210 (16797) | ||
| 1399394 | 2015-04-27 10:52:00 | Okay i see . I find it interesting changing desktop background and suddenly wifi is now fine . I think and it is just what i think you should also do is to try and scan for malware cause sometimes malware can cause this type of things . |
