| 443311 | 2006-04-03 03:25:00 | when people are logging onto the domain, some peoples my documents folder is pointing to the one created on the local machine under their login eg/ joe.bloggs logs in and it creates C:\Documents and Settings\joe.bloggs\My Documents when their documents are actually stored on the server under \\fileserver\profiles\joe.bloggs\Documents (the reason they're on the server is so they can be backed up) offline files are turned off so there's no sync going on. when joe.bloggs is logged on because of security reasons once you right click my documents the location is pointing to C:\Documents and Settings\joe.bloggs\My Documents but is greyed out. does anyone know where i go in the policy management on the server to allow this? or is there some sort of reg key i can use in the logon script that will point it to profiles/%username%/Documents ? | Jimmy D (2061) | ||
