| 443191 | 2006-04-02 20:43:00 | Hey everyone, Problem: Error screen for VPU recover appears everytime i log into windows, the message reads: 'VPU recover has reset your graphics accelerator - no longer responding to graphics driver commands'. I believe this is a result of upgrading the drivers, however, prior to upgrading the drivers windows was crashing everytime i right clicked or opened an application. Any suggestions? |

If it still happens uninstall the driver and use Driver Cleaner Pro to make sure all traces of the driver have been removed from the system. I suggest you install a set of drivers maybe one or two releases prior to the one's your using now. If everything is fine then either keep using it or upgrade to the latest drivers to see if the problem still exists. cheers chiefnz |

Just make sure you read the instructions on how / and when to run drivercleaner . Then reinstall . I had a prob with the latest version of the drivers too . Stupid catalyst centre wouldn't open lol . So, I went back to the drivers on the cd, that came with the card . They maybe old, but at least it works properly . |
