| 443043 | 2006-04-02 10:41:00 | Actually, you should be able to get over 400KB/s as a max speed as someone mentioned above (you divide it by 8) depending on how close you are to the exchange. not quite. data overheads mean that its basicly divide by 10......not includeing any compression. however don't exspect to get it all the time. traffic and telecoms network may mean it runs slower. even with the existing speeds its not a consistant speed. don't forget its only 3.5M MAXIMUM, there is no minimum ! |

And that sucks :| I just spoke with Xtra and they told me that all of the switching over of existing customers is to happen during this week (my billing plan is to 18th of each month). The young lady told me mine had already been done and when I checked my account on the website that's what it says. Have not noticed any appreciable difference in speed however ! Misty :stare: |
