| 443202 | 2006-04-02 22:31:00 | I know its the MS version. Are we talking about Outlook, or Outlook Express. Theyre not the same thing. And all you want to do is make Outlook Express the default email program?? What do you mean by synchronise? |

| 443203 | 2006-04-02 22:45:00 | Microsoft Outlook Express. Right for example say i was using AOL.. i would have to go to AOL homepage and sign in. But theres a way you configure outlook express to recieve the AOL mail so i wouldnt have to keep signing into AOL webmail. I would just run OLE |

When i go to close microsoft outlook express i thought it still runs in the background with the icon in the system tray? mine seems to be closing straight down? |

| 443206 | 2006-04-02 23:20:00 | Hi there As far as i can remember OE doesnt have the tray option, i havent used OE in a while but had mailwasher let me know when i had mail..... but i could be wrong. just reopened OE and it comes up with a box asking if its not default mail handler, And as said before go to tools Options, general and down bottom it says make this the defualt mail handler as well? if it is web based mail you should be able to set up that you can retreive your mail by OE, i do that wil KOL and have in the past done it with Xtra.... you will have to go thro a set up mail thingy i spose to configure your OE to do this..... by add new a account, in accounts > add addy option? this what you mean? other wise im in the dark too guys........ best of luck. beetle :D |

You probably want to be a lot more specific with your questions. |
