443139 2006-04-02 10:15:00 Now this is not a big issue, well it is not an issue but...

What I want to do is change the "My Music" and "My Documents" etc shortcuts in the start menu and that sort of thing to a custom target/location (keeping their random icons).

Why? because I have "My Music" and "My Documents" on a separate partition to the original locations. and in stead of navigating to them it will be easier.

Thanks :)

443141 2006-04-02 10:31:00 Or you can change the location of specific shell folders by going to the registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

Make sure you create the folder first, then enter the correct location. Changing the location will not move the files.

443142 2006-04-03 01:11:00 does anone know if there is a bulk path changer for shortcuts? i once partitioned a drive and moved a few things around so i had a bunch of desktop shortcuts that were pointing to the wrong drive, just wondering if there is such a thing that instead of going into the properties of each shortcut to change the driver letter, if it could be done automatically in a batch conversion or something?
