| 443883 | 2006-04-04 23:46:00 | Hi All I have a problem with desktop shortcuts: I have put shortcuts for a CD-RW & CD-Rom drives from `My Computer` to the desktop. These worked OK for a while but clicking on them now gets a message that the `Item E:\ (or F:\ ) that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly.` Obviously, I have moved nothing in `My Computer`. Any suggestions anyone? Cheers: pipercub |

| 443885 | 2006-04-05 01:58:00 | Hi Rob99 I get the same notice whether a CD is in the drive or not. Normally, if the drive was empty, I would get a notice to put a CD in that particular drive. The notice still says E:\ or F:\ depending on which drive I`m trying at the time. Using Win XP Pro on Celeron 2.4g with 40gb HDD. Cheers: pipercub |
