| 443837 | 2006-04-04 16:28:00 | I am wanting to start a list with 1.3.1 and for the next number to be 1.3.2, 1.3.3. etc. with every new line. But what I get is 2.3.1, 3.3.1 etc. | bpt2 (6653) | ||
| 443838 | 2006-04-04 22:22:00 | Hi bpt2. I use Word 2003. Format > Bullets and Numbering. Select the option on the right of None. Customise. In the Number Format window insert leading numbers, such as 1.1. before the existing greyed figure 1., so that it looks like 1.1.1 etc. Check the Preview and if happy, OK. Work will look something like this as you type and press Enter... Sample cut and paste from Word. 1.1.2. 44 1.1.3. vvv 1.1.4. vvv 1.1.5. vvv 1.1.6. vvv 1.1.7. vv 1.1.8. vv 1.1.9. vv 1.1.10. vv |
