| 443703 | 2006-04-04 05:58:00 | I have had a thread on unreliable internet and I think I have determind the cause..... The NF4 Ethernet port, the secondary port works fine, have had no drops on the net in 2 and a half days non stop (PC left on DLing) on the secondary port. Previously the setup was modem into NF4 Ethernet port, Mums PC on my secondary port, if I try to connect to Mums PC on the NF4 Ethernet port, it says there is a connection in the sys tray, but I cannot connect using RDC it says the computer can not be found, this is the same saved RDC profile that I was previously using that worked. Now do you think this is a driver or a faulty motherboard issue? :help: Thanks :) |

| 443705 | 2006-04-05 05:10:00 | Now, I goto the nvidia site to get the most up to date drivers, I click on nForce Drives and it comes up with nForce4 430/410 and nForce4 AMD, which of these do I choose? | The_End_Of_Reality (334) | ||
| 443706 | 2006-04-05 05:33:00 | If you have a mainboard that has onboard video (even if you are not using it) then choose the 430/410 option otherwise use the NForce4 AMD if you have an AMD cpu or the NForce4 Intel if you have an intel CPU. | CYaBro (73) | ||
| 443707 | 2006-04-05 08:54:00 | Ok so I downloaded the nForce4 AMD drivers and installed them and it seems to have made no difference, I am going to get into contact with the shop and see what they recommed..... and I have got a friend coming over tommorow to have a look | The_End_Of_Reality (334) | ||
