444017 2006-04-06 22:21:00 Ok I tried what you said with no luck... the problem still exists. I downloaded a program called ExplorerXP which allows you to acccess all your drives including your USB drives... so I went to disk management and assigned the disk to Drive Letter E and then I ran the ExplorerXP program and i was able to see it in there... but the only thing wrong was that said it was a Local Disk and not a Removable Disk... I still wasn't able to see it MyComputer though... Steelers82kk (10143)
444018 2006-04-06 23:53:00 I've had a PSP for a long time and have no problem hooking up to my Windows XP. Well a couple of days ago i did a system restore and for some reason it messed up a lot of my drivers. Well today when i plugged my PSP in it said new hardware found and it installed it and said it was ready to use... but when I went into My Computer, the removable drive was not shown. I went into Device manager and there were two things for it and they were USB Mass Storage Device and Disk Drive: Sony PSP USB Device. Both said it was working properly... Does anyone have any clue to whats wrong??? :help:
you delete all usb mass storage entrys and restart if your psp had a cd with drivers install them after you have restarted from above it should work out then.
