443756 2006-04-04 10:41:00 Hi

I have been playing Morrowind for a few days and I have suddenly got the message

Error CreateProcess C;\documents and settings...\temp\~f51e43.tmp

and the programme stops dead in its tracks.

I have uninstalled the programme, cleaned the registry out of any hint of the game and reinstalled but still get the same message.

Any thoughts?

I run an Athalon 3500 with 1 gig of memory and win XP pro. The video card is an A9550 with 256Mb ram

Clean out your temp folder too.

443759 2006-04-05 11:19:00 Use ccleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com) to get rid of the temp files etc off the hdd. Speedy Gonzales (78)
443760 2006-04-06 10:44:00 Hmm

tried that and no luck. I don't understand why the game worked for several hours over several days if not weeks before crapping out.

I will try another computer and see what happens

thanks for the help

443761 2006-04-06 10:56:00 Have you tried installing the update patch for that game? It should be available on the manufacturers website from memory.

Edit: You can find the patch here (www.elderscrolls.com). Make sure you select the correct patch for your version.
