2006-04-04 08:35:00 I'm working on a PowerPoint presentation using video clips from cardiac ultrasound exams. The ultrasound machine software allows me to export the DICOM video clips as AVI files but they grow in size from 1.5mb to 20mb for a one second video clip. This will limit the number of clips I can use and still fit the presentation on a CD. What can I do to make the video clips use less memory and still play on PowerPoint? BrotherDragon (10117)
2006-04-04 10:28:00 Can you convert the avi files to wmv format (windows media player) lark (1313)
2006-04-04 20:19:00 Can you convert the avi files to wmv format (windows media player)

Windows Media Player doesn't appear to be able to convert an avi file to wmv format. I'll check to see if my software at work can save the DICOM file to wmv format. If it can't what can I use to accomplish the task?

2006-07-20 13:31:00 probably, you have to convert ppt to video using some special programs (for example, i use ............... can use google to find it), it converts presentasions to AVI, ASF, WMV, MPEG, VOB and MP4, so WMV format is what you need. good luck :))) HISS (10138)
