444709 2006-04-07 07:03:00 I have recently reinstalled XP and have reinstalled all the drivers off the various cds that came with the computer, but I have a yellow flag next to the Multimedia Audio Controller in Device Manager .

Everything is working, I have a Dell dimension 4600 and a Creative sound card and those drivers installed fine, the diagnostics report no errors . I also have a Pixelview PlayTV Pro tuner card which is also working fine .

Anyone have any suggestions how to fix this?

Everything seems to be working fine but the annoying thing is XP trying to install the drivers every time I boot up .

If it is, disable the onboard soundcard in the BIOS.

It should then stop asking for the drivers.

I'll try when I get home tonight.

Cheers
