My dvd writer came with Nero 7, but I think it's a cut down version, because it doesn't seem to be able to write DVD's. I would of course prefer something free, but any suggestions are welcome. |

I do have Nero 7 and it can write DVDs here. Have you clicked the start smart icon and in the window that comes up click the red arrow up on the title bar? Should give you three options. |

| 444198 | 2006-04-05 10:59:00 | With Nero 6 / Nerovision (and maybe Nero 7), if you want to write to DVD, you need a serial to enable the option. The version of Nero 7 u have, maybe an OEM version? If it came with the burner. Another program you could try is CD Burner XP (http://www.cdburnerxp.se/) I'm not too sure if it can do chapters, but it's free. I've never used it tho. |
