| 445112 | 2006-04-09 03:49:00 | How can I get the fat32 me to a NTFS WinXP install, and not a fat32 winxp. Is there any websites or something where I can get step by step instruction on how to install winxp, as I am a beginner and don't want to screw anything up. All help will be appreciated! Cheers :D |

To change during the upgrade to NTFS would of meant a reformat and loss of existing data. You can convert FAT32 to NTFS if you have already got XP installed - see here: How to convert a FAT16 volume or a FAT32 volume to an NTFS file system in Windows XP (support.microsoft.com) |
