| 444844 | 2006-04-07 10:36:00 | Hi I have a tempermental computer, recovering from major crash but still seems to have a touch of the chills!!!!! I was burning DVD's successfully using a Netguide "Copy to DVD" programme and DVD+R. Have bought more DVDs' and they are DVD-R. Copy to DVD wouldn't work so took it off thinking programme was problem and touchy computer - and replaced with Netguide "Ashampoo Burning Studio"...says please insert disk when it is already there. Help please...could it be the -R and +R bit? would really appreciate help cheers Lindy |

If looking for a replacement drive, don't go past the LG DVD-RWs, as they are now dual-layer, multi-format, and very reliable, IMHO. :) | combatwombat_nz (8816) | ||

| 444848 | 2006-04-07 11:24:00 | Hey Lindy, That's one of the cheapest (price wise) burners you'd find around, unfortunately it only does +R DVDs (the expensive ones). So yea, you should get +Rs for it, or buy a burner that is +/- R which can do both formats. Cheers, KK |
