445383 2006-04-11 09:31:00 just keep your eyes open, theres generally warnings before you reformat the windows partition or anything silly like that, but still they are no substitute to watching what you are doing in the first place. personthingy (1670)

445385 2006-04-12 04:54:00 The best rule for formatting is to let the OS which will use a partition format it. ;) Just use FDISK or Disk manager to unallocate that FAT32 partition and make a smaller one for the "shared" partition. That's just one which both OSs can use. Leave the space for Linux unallocated. The installer will find it and ask if you want it to use that space. Graham L (2)
