| 445138 | 2006-04-09 08:44:00 | I have an Athlon XP3000+ which is somewhere around 2.1-2.4 ghz and has been running great for about the 2 years I have had the computer. Recently my performance has been horrible in games and when I went to the properties menu, the processor speed shows up as 1.04 ghz, which is not its true speed. I am afraid that my computer is running like that is the speed, and if not then what may the problem be. Thanks in advance. | Jrez (10174) | ||
| 445139 | 2006-04-09 09:43:00 | download everest (www.majorgeeks.com) and see what that says about your CPU. I suspect you may have overheating issues .. i.e. your heatsink/fan is covered in dust. |
