445012 2006-04-08 12:24:00 Gainward 7800GS 512MB agp Bliss, really a 7800GT.

It has half a gigabyte of memory, and 20 pipelines as well. They even top if off with some serious cooling from Arctic Cooling. So if you are looking for the fastest AGP card out there, you will need to grab yourself one of these.

Anybody know where I can buy this agp graphics card in NZ.,and how much for?

Because I really want one!!!!! :D

I can pay cash as well,if that helps am willing to pay up to $$$$

445014 2006-04-08 13:05:00 I think you might find this card is not suitable for gaming, but designed to be used for applications like CAD.

That's not right. My AGP X800 had 16 pipelines. You must be thinking of something else.

What are you smoking man,Gainward are a graphic card company well known in gaming circles and are specifically aiming this card at agp gamers.
To be more precise it wants to be the king but it is not that easy anymore. The market is getting more complicated as companies such as XFX, EVGA, BFG and others are chasing the same customers.

The gpu is a 7800GT PCIe gpu with 20 pipes, 7 vertex, 16 ROPs, 425/1200 512mb PCIe vidoe card. the only difference is that it uses another chip, known as a "bridge" to allow it to run on an AGP port.

so it's a PCIe 7800GT w/512mb that can run on an AGP port, plain and simple.
