I think Linux has or is making alternatives to every MS product there is. Word - Writer Excel - Calc PowerPoint - Impress Publisher - Scribus Internet Explorer - Firefox Outlook - Evolution Messenger - GAIM Notepad - (too many to name) Money - KMyMoney Media Player - (too many to name) FrontPage - Quanta Plus Minesweeper - Mines Paint - KolourPaint Fax - KFax The list will go on, but I can tell you there's not enough MS products to replace the products you can get on Linux. Here's a site that has alternatives, just click on each icon to see what choices you have: microsoft.toddverbeek.com Cheers, KK |
