| 445916 | 2006-04-11 23:02:00 | Looking for some ideas. I have a mate's sempron 2400+ on my network and it is very slow on a web speed test. For example, my two machines get around 1800-2000 kbps but the slow one gets from 41-600 kbps. It is variable, too. Funny thing, though, ping times to a NZ site URL are similar to my machine. I have run DrTCP and TCPOptimiser and have used their settings. MTU is 1500. I have also run it against PCPitstop's Tweak tester and they don't have much to say of use. Any bright ideas for me to follow? Googling hasn't helped. |
