445784	2006-04-11 19:42:00	For one of the websites I own I have a video gallery, and it is updated automatically every time a new video is uploaded to the videos directory. This is done through a clever little PHP script. Once the video is uploaded to the videos directory it is automatically listed on the videos page. You can then click on the listed video and a new page with an embedded video player will open. There is also a download link, a comments link where people can submit comments for the video, and a text field that contains coding for embedding the video on your own website or on your myspace page. And this is all done through this PHP script. Now it’s all good and well apart from one thing, a description of the video. I want a description of the video to appear on the same page as the embedded media player, download link etc.... I have come up with a way of doing it but I'm not sure if it is possible. With any video file you can right click > properties > summary (simple not advanced) and there is a box called comments that you can write a description of the video and save it to the video file its self. But is there a way of viewing the comments attached to a video file through your browser, e.g. "www.yourwebsite.com/videoname.wmv?showcomments" or something like that. If this is possible then I could have a description of each video, I would just need to include the description in the properties of the video before uploading it, then my script will be complete, all I will need to do is make a few changes to the script for it to retrieve the comments for the video, but I need to know URL needed to view the attached comments for a video file :rolleyes: I no this is a bit of a long shot but it will be great if this is possible Cheers :D	Adam678 (6880)
