| 445705 | 2006-04-11 08:31:00 | I'm running a dual boot Xandros/Win XP and I'd like to connect to my wireless network from Xandros through a ZyXEL G-200 USB adapter. It works fine for Win XP, but the power light on the adapter doesn't even come on when I boot into Xandros, so Linux is not recognising the hardware. I guess I need a Linux driver for the adapter, but I cannot find one anywhere. Is it possible to run this hardware on Linux? If not, what brand of wireless adapter runs under Linux? |

| 445706 | 2006-04-11 10:16:00 | Tideman, Greetings. I used to run Xandros / XP dual boot. Now, I just run Xandros. Have a look on http://forums.xandros.com and use the search function I just had a look and, when I searched for "ZyXEL wireless adaptor" (sp?) I got nothing. However, a search for "ZyXEL" got 11 matches. Have a browse there. Better still, if you haven't already joined that forum, I can reccommend it. They are a friendly bunch there. I spend more of my browsing time there than on this forum. Cheers, Jim |
