| 445835 | 2006-04-14 23:46:00 | :thumbs: Hey guys thanks for the suggestions. A mate of mine has just solved the problem. He mentioned that Hijackthis would probably not help as it looked like it had more to do with Internet Explorer than WINDOWS EXPLORER. He suggested that I go into Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/File Types/ Finding the appropriate offending Folder entry and changing its default action using the Advanced button. So I selected "File Folder" and found that the action was set to "find". I then added "explore" to the Action and set that with C:\Windows\explorer.exe as the application to perform the action. Bingo. Problem fixed. |
