445700 2006-04-11 22:09:00 yeah same here on Ihug.

quit firefox.

I found you can change the URL for the Google search box on Firefox.

Edit the file google.src in the directory:

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins

change the URL in one of the lines to the following:
action="www.google.co.nz

launch firefox.

Thanks for that! Thought it must be something simple.
I'm gonna email ihug as well and ask why we are getting an AUS IP address instead of an NZ one.

445701 2006-04-11 22:21:00 Just found this (http://www.activetarget.com/) page and it says our IP address is from New Zealand so maybe Google is having problems... CYaBro (73)
445702 2006-04-12 01:18:00 The ip ranges databases aren't always updated, seems unlikely for google

when i took over maintenance of a site that used the ip to country database my orcon address was showing me as being in Australia (Invercargill is a bit far south for that), updating the sites ip database fixed the problem,

also ihug are aussie owned aren't they, they could possibly be doing something strange there, i know there are problems with British AOL users being shown as American or something, could possibly be the same thing
